31 Day Challenge: Inspired by a Flag

Sadly, this was a huge manicure fail. But oh, the inspiration for this flag manicure was great.

I have done lots of US flag manicures for Independence Day, so I thought that the image of different countries' flags as leaves on the same tree was wonderful. I tried to make nail decals from a printed version of that tree, but it did not work. I don't know if the paper was too thick or if there is some special trick to make that work.

After the failure, I contemplated just showing you a white manicure, waving the white flag at this challenge, but decided that it would be too cliché.
