Today's manicure was inspired by the pattern on the throw pillows from my sofa. While looking at the pillow I thought, "Yay! An excuse to wear Briarwood!" and there was nothing else to consider.

Half way through the challenge and here I am with another manicure. This is the most often I have ever painted my nails and I even do the cheat of transforming a previous day's mani whenever I can. Is that frowned upon? If so, I apologize, but it is the only way I could to this while maintaining my sanity.

Well, here it is, my last Nail Files of 2012! Last Sunday, with nails chipping, I decided to do a quick, easy manicure, no stamping. And, since my skittlette mani a couple weeks ago, I've been excited to try another. This is what I came up with.

Hello, lovelies! Since I first saw a-england Dragon, I knew that I had to have it one day. I finally gave on to the temptation and I am so glad I did. A-england polishes apply so smoothly and are so very pretty! Dragon is a gorgeous, murky green with a beautiful holographic finish.

I know that November is nearly over, but if you didn't know, it is pancreatic cancer awareness month. Pancreatic cancer affects over 40,000 people a year and unfortunately at this time, there is less than a 10% five year survival rate. It is wonderful that so many strides are being made in the fights against other cancers. Now is the time to be even stronger in our fight against pancreatic cancer. In 2006, my aunt, one of the most vibrant, unique people I have ever known was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She fought the cancer for only a few short months before it took her life.
